
L³ LIMO line lasers® have been successfully used for optimization of functional layers. The lasers are designed for very Rapid Thermal Processing (vRTP). By means of LIMO's line lasers material properties can be optimized or new material properties can be generated. Even synthesis of new materials is possible.

In comparison to selective processing with laser beam, the treatment with laser line can be done simultaneously. Thereby a higher process velocity is achieved. Furthermore the homogeneous intensity distribution of laser line and the continuous wave mode of the laser enables uniform process results.
