LIMO to offer precision optics training for meticulous candidates with a steady hand
A clear challenge for LIMO is the current shortage of skilled workers in Germany, coupled with the growing degree of specialization required in a large number of jobs. In order to remain well-equipped for its core Optical Components segment and the high standards it requires, LIMO is introducing an apprenticeship program to train highly-skilled optical technicians. Apprentices will learn how to manufacture optical components and assemblies from glass, as well as everything that goes along with it, such as quality control. Aside from an affinity for physics, candidates will need to bring two essential qualities to the table: meticulousness and a steady hand.
